I am an idiot

So I noticed with one of my one survey companies, surveyspot that their question section kept mentioning my account but I didn't have access to a member's area. So, looked a little farther down this time and realized that they did have a link to a member's area and that you had to request them to cut you a check (this little thing only took me two months to figure out *sigh*.)

So now I have a $37 check for my first round of surveys coming to me. I figure I will use survey money to supplement my out to eat budget since I really love eating out but its way too expensive.

    I've yet to find a survey place that pays me. I either "don' qualify" for the cash ones, or I only get sweepstakes entries.

    I was wondering if surveyspot is legit or just some sort of spammer. I did a couple of surveys with them and didn't get anything out of it. It said something like I wasn't qualified (after I took the survey). Now they send me lots of survey invites but I'm a little afraid to bother with them.

    I also heard good things in general about Lightspeed but every time I take one of their surveys they cut me off short and say i'm not qualified for it, but then I'm entered in a contest.

    Surveyspot is a sweepstakes based one that I did because it was fun but then it started to pay sometimes as well. The more active in it you are, the more paid ones become available to you. I had a paid one within the first 2 weeks. You are going to get disqualified alot but this is one of the few that actually tends to gear things towards your answers (ie, I am in Colorado so if they need Colorado people they send it to me with that in teh title).

    Your not an idiot! Good job on the $37! I think putting it towards eating out is a great idea!
