Pictures of my pugs

Ok, as promised, here are some pictures of my pugs. The fawn is the newly adopted (previously mauled) pug and the black is our sweety that we have had for close to three years.





Aren't they just adorable? The black one follows the fawn one around everywhere and they are constantly playing in between naps.

    I heart pugs. My favorite was Puggy Pete, my friend's elderly adopted dog. Unfortunately he died during the Hurricane Katrina evacuation, from all the stress. RIP Puggy Pete!

    They get along very well. Gizmo(the black one) has been very good for Spencer(the fawn one), Spencer is still spooked by other dogs(he sounds like he is being put through a meat grinder). They actually mellow each other out because they are exhausted from playing. Oh, and for those of you who may decide you want Pugs (can't blame you, I love them)1. be warned, they are like potatoe chips, you can't have just one. and 2. When books describe them as low energy, they mean sleeps 16-18 hrs a day. when they are up, they are pretty active. Especially if you take good care of them, we have taken Gizmo on 6 mile walks before.

    I want to get a pug someday... everyone says they are a delightful breed. I think it is wonderful that you adopted a "special needs" pug (Spencer). He now has a stable and loving home and a playmate. I wish there were more people like you in the world.

    Analise,
    having a happy warm wriggling pug jump up into your lap is a very good reward in and of itself and makes it worth it.
